Mid-Century circa 1950's Hollywood Regency rich gold tone ormolu lidded tissue box with crisp and ornate floral decoration. The lid opening is flanked by solid swirls of flowers, buds, and vines. The floral decoration around the sides of the box is pierced. The box is held up by Cherubs / Putti on each corner, each with one foot forward. Gold decorative paper is laid on the interior bottom of the box and the underside has a dark brown fabric covering. Measures about 11" x 5 3/4" x 3 7/16" overall; actual tissue box area measures 10 3/16" x 5" x 2 3/4".

In very good estate condition with only light age-related wear. Gold ormolu shows a lovely patina. Will display spectacularly on the vanity!
